Physical Appearance: Piercing blue eyes with long, raven black hair that seems to be styled in unique ways every few months or so, Valen is a generally tall male with a muscular build. While he appears to look fairly normal, there is a freak in the shadows waiting to pounce.

His style of clothing depends on his mood; sometimes a simple black shirt, jeans. Button down shirts..to even a suit. While performing, he would be seen wearing a open jacket to expose his chest and matching pants and shoes. Eyeliner would decorate his eyes to bring out the color..and perhaps a few fake tattoos.

General Attitude/Personality: Aside from his profession, he generally is a well mannered man. His voice is smooth, yet demanding that catches your attention.

History: A "shock" artist and contortionist with a sleek punk-rock look and an unholy taste for the unsettling, Valen is one of the various performers at a circus and freak show. His tools consists of power tools, hooks and needles and many other sharp and pointy objects. Even every day items.

Valen was home schooled and grew up in relatively isolated circumstances. At a young age, he would visit a library and look up books on magic. Magic interested him deeply, even excited him to start performing.

With his mother being a demon, and a father who was a regular human, they had to shield him from most human eyes, in fear of their child being harmed.

He would start out with at home in his room with small, sharp objects in his mouth and developed a slight resistance with the pain. From there on is history.

Being supportive parents, they let him do as he pleased and eventually let him join a traveling circus and freak show.

His acts are not all shock for shock's sake. There was always a purpose. To show people that there are different ways of expressing yourself. Whether it's something beautiful or something horrible, it's all valid and it it all about opening minds.

Away from the shock factor, he also grew interested in contortion. To him, it was a beautiful art form, and less of an adrenalin rush when he wished to do something a little more settling.

RP Example: A little Valen thought the circus was gorgeous and otherworldly. The half-breed fell in love with it the moment he stepped through the gothic, velvety curtains. It took only a moment to absorb his surroundings, nearly forgetting all about his mother and father as he took deep breaths of various smells that drifted in the breeze. His bright blue eyes went wide at the wonder of how long it must've taken the workers to paint and decorate such intricate patterns. The black monochrome-striped wonderland was only enhanced by the other visitors, whose everyday colored seemed almost alien with color...
