| Name: Taryn Landri
Nickname(s): Tari
Age: 19
Birthday: 8th of July, 1992
Species: Angel
Element: Light and Fire
Natural Born Abilities: Flying and Empathy
Weapon(s): Sword
Limitations of Weapon(s): His sword feeds on his energy when being used, and tries to influence his decisions almost constantly.
Explanation of Weapon: Looks like a normal, katana at first glace, but the blade seems to shift and shimmer when seen in peripheral vision. Taryn almost always keeps it with him, saying it’s an heirloom from his father if asked.
Physical Appearance: Tall, slightly on the thin side. He has blonde hair with bright blue eyes. He manages to usually strike a good balance between being light skinned, and having a tan. Most distinguishing are his wings, which are snowy white and almost 14 feet tip to tip when he stretches them out, luckily he can make them vanish when he needs to.
General Attitude/Personality: Taryn is very easy going, and a bit of a joker. He hates being serious about anything fighting usually, but is always ready to turn serious and fight if it comes to protecting someone else.
Likes: New foods, reading, computers
Dislikes: His sword, being bad at reading, most people messing with his wings
Bad Habits: Brooding himself into depression, pushing himself too far trying to help people.
Goals: Get a formal education. Have a job other then fighting.
Fears: Abandonment, his sword changing his personality.
Mother/Father: Taryn was raised entirely by his Mother, who is a almost stereotypical angel, blond, tall, willowy and innocent. She feels the need to care for everyone and spent a lot of time healing of people the town Taryn grew up in.
Siblings: None
History: Taryn grew up in the same city of demons as Akiratsu, being born a few months earlier he befriended the Fox Demon early on at about age seven. Even when he was younger much of his time was split between fighting, and learning healing at his mother’s knee. Aki’s family was often like a second one to him, though his mother was never as close to them as he was. When Aki met Toya, Taryn befriended him as well, and Sara when she came along he was never as close to them as they were to each other, helping his mother in her healing work always kept him busy. Taryn was mostly on the edges of the conflict when Aki and Sara broke apart, and his friend went out into the world. Shortly after he explained to his mother that he had to try and help his friend, and left to find him.
RP Example: Close, almost...there. Taryn let a long breath out as the last fragment of the boy’s mind clicked back into place. He opened his eyes, tilting his head side to side, trying to work a kink out. He’d been working with the poor child for a couple of days now, whatever malevolent thing had come this way had really done a number on the kid, but Taryn had been able to put him back together, mostly anyways, he would always be afraid of some things, but he wasn’t a vegetable anymore. He sighed a little and looked at the door. These were tolerant humans, but they would be trying to drive him off as soon as they realized they didn’t need him anymore. That was alright with him though, he’d helped the boy, which was the only reason he’d stopped in the first place. He scooped up his things and was out a window and into the air before any of the towns people were any the wiser.
Other: His sword has it’s own personality, which is anything but nice. It can communicate with him telepathically, but Taryn has to speak back to it, and tries to only do that when no one notices, and will deny everything if he’s caught. | |
